'Le Festival des Musiques Progressives'
The Gesu Centre de Creativitie

1200 de Bleury Street, Montreal, Canada.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 15.

Hatfield and the North, with Richard Sinclair, Phil Miller, Alex Maguire and Mark Fletcher.
Richard arrived back in the UK on Monday September 18th.

The following day was Pips' funeral and we drove to Essex to be with the many friends and family, including Jonathan Coe and Doug Boyle who were then invited to take part with the Canterbury Festival concert.
Many thanks to Jonathan Coe, who submitted a written piece to 'The Guardian' newspaper to help advertise the concert.

Thanks to 'Kent Regional Newspapers' for this front page tribute to Pip Pyle. Richard Sinclair was interviewed by
Kevin Mudge-Wood of the editorial team and the submitted  picture was taken by Robert Smith, (U.S.A.)
of Pip performing with 'Hatfield and the North ' at Baja Prog Festival, March 2006.

Thanks to Alex Maguire for this concert, which turned out to be the last for Pip Pyle, who died some hours later
after another fine and well received 'Hatfield set'
Farewells were exchanged in Amsterdam, NL. - as Pip headed for the train to his home in Paris
and Richard, Phil and Alex to the airport, for the UK.

Thanks to Herman Tulp, who made a DVD of this concert and sent us a copy, from which these pictures were taken.
